  • Essentials Course: These courses guide you through 30+ lessons of travel fundamentals, including meeting and greeting, expressing wants and needs, dealing with money, asking for help, and beyond.

  • General Vocabulary: Hundreds of topical vocabulary lists will teach you thousands of new words and phrases through interactive activities that build all four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. No more drilling paper flashcards!

  • Intermediate & advanced courses: Go beyond beginner in popular languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and more.

  • ESOL: English learners can explore beginner courses for speakers of 40+ languages, including “English for Newcomers” for newly arrived immigrants and refugees. Plus, immersion-style courses for intermediate and advanced English learners, including conversation courses and a US Citizenship test prep course.

  • American Sign Language: Learn to fingerspell, sign 1,000+ common signs, and put signs together to communicate complete ideas in courses created by ASL experts from Signing Savvy. There is even a course on signs for babies and children.

  • Indigenous languages: Explore more than 40 Indigenous language courses, from Ojibwe to Taino, created by and for Indigenous communities. Made possible through a partnership with the non-profit 7000 Languages.

Worried that you won’t be able to learn on your own? An integrated analytics system tracks your progress, periodically prompting you to review material that you haven’t seen in a while. It’s like having a built-in teacher there to keep you on track toward your language-learning goals.

Best of all, Transparent Language Online works on any Internet-connected device, so you can learn from a web browser on your computer or in the iOS or Android app on your phone.
