There's nothing better than a good rom-com, especially one that starts with a funny story! This was fun to read and had some great laugh out loud moments.

Great literature these are not, but they surely are fun! Picture a slapstick/adventure series featuring a host of incompetent people, eccentric relatives, wacky co-workers and two very competent handsome men looking over and cleaning up after inept bounty hunter Stephanie Plum. I laughed so hard at Stephanie's inane antics that my husband banned books by Janet Evanovich from our bedroom. The best thing? You can read any of the books in the series at any time.

Illustrated by one of my favorite artists, Vera Brosgol, this picture book follows the story of a television cook (who happens to be a witch) as she -attempts- to make frog soup. This is one of the only books that has ever made me laugh. Read it to break the spell of a gloomy day!
