Get A Library Card

Your key to everything the library offers. Get a free library card to borrow books, stream movies, use research tools, and explore digital collections.

Library cards are available to any resident or property owner of Beaufort County.

Those who begin signing up for a library card online will need to visit their local library with proof of residency, e.g., an ID with a Beaufort County address, recent mail, or a bill, to receive their card.

If a resident has an existing library card that has become inactive, they are encouraged to contact the library online or by calling.
