Meet Bestselling Author Max Brallier!

The Beaufort County Library is excited to welcome New York Times bestselling author Max Brallier, creator of the popular The Last Kids on Earth series, to the Bluffton Branch Library on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. for a special author visit made possible through The Storybook Shoppe.

Brallier will visit as part of his book tour celebrating The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade: The Graphic Novel. Young readers and fans of the series are invited to an afternoon of adventure, creativity, and fun inspired by the world of The Last Kids on Earth.

The event will kick off with themed activities followed by an engaging Q&A with Brallier and an opportunity to meet the author during a book signing. One lucky attendee will also win a complete set of The Last Kids on Earth books, generously provided by the Friends of the Bluffton Library.

Books will be available for purchase on-site through The Storybook Shoppe.

Brallier's The Last Kids on Earth series follows 13-year-old Jack Sullivan and his friends as they navigate a monster-filled, post-apocalyptic world. Combining humor, action, and friendship, the bestselling series has captivated young readers and inspired a Netflix animated series. Brallier is also the author of Eerie Elementary, Mister Shivers, Galactic Hot Dogs, and Can YOU Survive the Zombie Apocalypse?

The event is free and open to the public.
