We are happy to announce that our five branch libraries now offer new “Lucky Day” collections that provide Beaufort County readers a chance to get their hands on hot new releases, best-sellers and popular books that typically have long hold times.
If it’s on the shelf, it’s yours to check out—no holds, no waiting!
Lucky Day items are simply extra copies of the most popular books made available on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to provide regular good fortune to multiple readers, Lucky Day books:
Are first-come, first-served (staff cannot hold these items for customers)
Have a two-week loan period
Are not eligible for renewals
Are limited to 1 book per person at a time
Books in these collections will change all the time, so visit the library often to see what’s available.

Lucky Day Collections are provided by the following Beaufort County Library support organizations: the Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County, the Friends of the Beaufort Library, the Friends of the Bluffton Library, and the Friends of the Hilton Head Library.
