Celebrate Poetry Month at Hilton Head Branch
The Hilton Head Branch is excited to host two events on April 5th to celebrate National Poetry Month for 2018. The Pat Conroy Literary center will be joining us at 2pm for "Pat Conroy's Great Love of Poetry" during which Tim Conroy, Pat's brother, will "explore Pat’s lifelong relationship with poetry as a reader, as a self-described failed poet, and as a writer who found a creative outlet for the rhapsody and rhythms of poetry in his iconic lyrical and descriptive prose."

See local history from a different angle
Civil War and Reconstruction-era Stereoscope Collections Now Available View over 150 images in the Library’s new stereoscope collection. The images date back to the Civil War and Reconstruction time periods and include historic lowcountry sites and people around town.
The images can be enjoyed with or without 3D glasses.
