You may have received a notice that your hold(s) are ready for pick-up. While our library locations are closed, holds remain suspended and are not available for pickup. Please disregard the message you received. Your hold should be there when our libraries are able to offer a pick-up service. Library Book Drops Have Reopened

Library Book Drops Have Reopened Friday, April 17 - Book drops at all five Beaufort County branch libraries are now open. Residents are welcome to return their borrowed materials at any time. Please note that a cardholder’s account will not reflect the returned items for approximately two weeks from the date of the return. Residents may keep their borrowed materials if they choose. Due dates continue to be extended on all items and fines will not accrue while the libraries are closed. All Beaufort County Library branches and bookmobiles remain closed to the public. With NewsGuard’s browser extension installed, users have access to ratings and reviews of website reliability, integrated directly in their social media feeds and search engine results. Access to accurate information is important now, more than ever. With news about the coronavirus pandemic emerging every minute, the deluge of information has been accompanied by a flood of misinformation. It is vital for members of our community to be equipped with the skills and tools to access reliable information.
