Friends & Foundation Help Library Grow

Libraries are made stronger with help from their communities. The Beaufort County Library system is fortunate to have not one, not two, but three Friends of the Library groups and the Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County. The Friends and the Foundation are all-volunteer groups dedicated to supporting the work and supplementing the resources of the Library system. The Friends and the Foundation have generously supported library programs such as the summer reading program (Summer @ Your Library), a new Bookmobile, staff scholarships, book collections, online resources, library programs, storytimes, and so much more. The Public Library Foundation is dedicated to building a $1 mill
