“Be Free Or Die” Book Talk and “SC’s Liberty Trail”
The Beaufort District Collection (BDC) offers local history programs about the Revolutionary War and native son and hero, Robert Smalls, during June.

Book talk, sale and signing with author Cate Lineberry whose latest book recounts the amazing story of Robert Smalls’s escape from slavery. Limited space. First come; first seated. Seating begins 20 minutes before program. Program is co-sponsored by the Beaufort County Historical Society.
