Scan/Fax/Copy/Share at the Library

Beaufort County residents can easily turn their documents digital!

All Beaufort County Library branches offer complimentary use of BookScan stations. These self-service stations allow users to scan documents, photos, books, and other items. (The units even TRANSLATE documents!)

Users can save scans to a USB drive or save as JPEGs, PDFs, or other file types. From the same screen, documents can be emailed or faxed to wherever they need to go within the United States.

Designed to be easy to use with large, friendly buttons, the unit's touch screen guides the user through the scan process and offers scanning to:

  • Printer

  • Fax

  • Google Drive

  • Email as an attachment

  • Network Folder

  • FTP (SSL/SSH)

  • USB Flash Drive

  • Smartphone/Tablet

  • Dropbox

  • OneDrive

In addition to the free BookScan station features, all library branches offer use of copiers and printers at a cost of $.10/page (black and white only).
