Library Branches to Adjust Hours at Busiest Branches

Beginning October 1, operating hours will expand slightly at three Beaufort County Library branches.

The branches and their new hours are as follows:

Beaufort Branch Library

Mon 9:00am—7:00pm

Tue 9:00am—6:00pm

Wed 9:00am—7:00pm

Thu 9:00am—6:00pm

Fri 9:00am—6:00pm

Sat 9:00am—5:00pm

Bluffton Branch Library

Mon 9:00am—7:00pm

Tue 9:00am—7:00pm

Wed 9:00am—7:00pm

Thu 9:00am—7:00pm

Fri 9:00am—5:00pm

Sat 10:00am—5:00pm

Hilton Head Branch Library

Mon 9:00am—7:00pm

Tue 9:00am—8:00pm

Wed 9:00am—6:00pm

Thu 9:00am—8:00pm

Fri 10:00am—5:00pm

Sat 10:00am—5:00pm

In addition, the Beaufort District Collection - the library system’s special local history and archives department – will expand their hours to stay open to the public until 5:00pm on Fridays.

Hours at the Lobeco and St. Helena branch libraries will remain the same.
