I absolutely LOVE this book. It was probably my favorite book of 2020. This story is a beautiful portrayal of love, hope, determination, and being able to live your authentic self. I also love this is an #OwnVoices story and represents a wide range of diversity. This book can be found in SCLENDS and on cloudLibrary as an ebook and audiobook.

It is a wild love & hate story that takes place in France. There is a continuing war between witches and the Church. Reid Diggory is sworn to the Church as a Chasseur to not only protect what he stands for, but live by the principle that no witch shall live. His life was forever changed when he crossed paths with a witch named Louise le Blanc. Their journey began after being forced into a complicated situation: MARRIAGE!!!
I recommend this book because 1) This book is part one of a thriller trilogy so more reason to read 2) This book talks about evil sorcery, witchcrafts, and forbidden love between witches and humans. WHO DOESN'T ENJOY READING ABOUT THAT!?! This book is available on SCLENDS and Hoopla. The audiobook is available on cloudLibrary.

Seventeen-year-old Sia practically grew up in the water scuba diving, and wreck dives are run of the mill. Take the tourists out. Explore the reef. Uncover the secrets locked in the sunken craft. But this time... the dive goes terribly wrong. Attacked by a mysterious creature, Sia's boat is sunk, her customers are killed, and she washed up on a deserted island with no sign of rescue in sigh. Waiting in the water is a seemingly unstoppable monster that is still hungry. In the jungle just off the beach are dangers best left untested. When Sia reunites with a manful of survivors, she sees it as the sign of light. Sia is wrong. Enjoyed this book because once again it held a possibility. Science speaks about time warps and black holes, infinite star systems. Once again could this truly happen? What if? This is a Teen book however I think adults could enjoy it also. This book can be found in SClends.
