Beaufort Branch Library to Offer Two Solar Eclipse Events
On August 21, 2017, millions of people across the United States will see nature's most wondrous spectacle — a total eclipse of the Sun. Here in Beaufort, we will have the opportunity to witness up to 98% coverage of the Sun – a partial solar eclipse. We invite you to visit the Beaufort Branch library to celebrate and learn about this astronomical event. *All program attendees will receive complimentary viewing glasses designed to protect your eyes while observing the eclipse.

The South Carolina State Library will discontinue subscriptions to four online resources in the near future. Beaufort County Library cardholders will no longer have access to the following resources beginning on the dates listed below: Learning Express Library (effective 8/1) Ferguson's Career Center (effective 8/1) Mango Languages (effective 9/26) SELF-e & IndieSC (effective date unknown)
