World renowned artist Alex Palkovich has chosen the St. Helena branch of the Beaufort County Library System to display his award-winning bronze sculpture “On the Way to Market.” This 44” tall bronze sculpture depicts an African-American woman with a basket full of vegetables balanced adeptly on her head.
