Gale Databases contain the *"Biography Resource Center" with a biography of Osama (Usama) Bin Laden.

*"Custom Newspapers" contains currents events from the Charleston Post and Courier and the New York Times. Many of the other Gale databases also contain articles about terrorism written from 1980 to the present.

*Grolier Encyclopedias contain definitions and an overview of recent terrorist attacks.

*Newsbank links to War in Iraq (http://www.bcgov.org/bftlib/iraq.htm)

*Sirs Knowledge Source. Click on the link, "Special Feature: Focus on Terrorism" for information on the hunt for Bin Laden, Afghanistan and the Taliban, and more. "Featured Web Sites" contains links to Web sites including the U. S. Department of State, all of the armed services sites, the Building Big Databank with statistics about the World Trade Center buildings, and many others.

*Sirs Discoverer for young students has a "Subject Tree" link for "Social Issues." Choose the link for "Violence and Crime" and then for "Terrorism" to find articles that are marked easy, moderate or challenging. Many contain pictures suitable for school reports. The link for "Current Events" will also produce results on recent terrorist attacks all over the world.
