National Stamp Out Bullying Day is Monday, October 7th and we want you to be ready to do your part. Stop by the Children’s Department Monday, September 30th through Monday, October 7th and sign the anti bullying pledge, decorate a blue paper t shirt to hang in our window, and get an anti-bullying sticker to wear home.

Courtesy of Penn Center, the St Helena Branch Library will host the Bostick Mini Quilt Display from October 1st-31st.  These quilts are examples of the quilts used during the Underground Railroad that provided messages for Harriet Tubman who was traveling in the region to take escaped slaves safely to the North.  Dr.

FIVE SCHOLARS, FIVE DISCUSSIONS

Let’s Talk About It is a scholar-led reading and discussion program consisting of five sessions. All discussions will be held at the Beaufort Branch Library at 311 Scott Street in downtown Beaufort. Registration is required for this five-part series; books will be provided.
