A hands-on, highly interactive workshop for anyone with a story to tell, especially those who may be considering writing or publishing a memoir, novel, speech, presentation, or personal essay.  Participants will discover both practical and clever ways to share stories, preserve memories, and capture and maintain an audience’s attention. Tax Help @ the Beaufort Branch Library offered through VITA Tax Aide. Mondays 10:30am-4:00pm & Thursdays 1:30pm-7:00pm. (Runs January 7th through April 15th.) Free, no appointments. Customers served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Professor Carolyn Schriber will speak on her recent novel, The Road to Frogmore: Turning Slaves into Citizens, which tells the story of Laura Towne and the founding of the Penn School. Books will be available for purchase after the talk. Program is open to adults.

Relax your mind while stretching and toning your body with therapeutic yoga offered by instructor Martha Pike on Thursdays from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Branch Library. Participants need only to bring their own mat.
