An hour program that is geared towards the State’s Standards for Early Learners. Each week toddlers will be engaged in stories, crafts, movement, and movies that are appropriate for their development to prepare for preschool.

Book Break returns to the Community Room at the Hilton Head Library on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 for its eleventh consecutive season. The Friends of the Hilton Head Library present this very popular series of six book reviews and discussions. Each session starts promptly at noon and ends at 1:00. Doors open at 11:00 with the distribution of free tickets. Coffee, tea and cookies are served at 11:30.

Let our ancestry maven guide you on the right path to discovering your genealogical roots in this presentation/workshop featuring the Ancestry Library Edition database. Attendees must possess basic computer skills (clicking, typing in a search box). If possible, please bring a list of 3 people within your family who were alive to be counted in the 1930 U.S. Federal census.

It’s Bedtime Stories where children (2ish – 7ish) come in their pj’s with their favorite stuffed animal and we read, sing and have a great time. Little ones will leave with a bedtime snack and some theme-related take home ideas.
