Request an Item

Request through Interlibrary Loan:

If you have searched the catalog for an item and the Library does not have it, you may submit a request in person at any Library services desk at one of our five branches. For information and guidelines regarding the Interlibrary Loan Service, see the Interlibrary Loan page. 

Please do not request materials from other Beaufort County Public Library branch locations or from other SCLends Libraries through interlibrary loan. To request these items, place a hold in the catalog. If you are unsure how to place a hold, you can find directions here.

Recommend to Order:

If you have looked in the catalog for a certain item, and the Library does not own it, you may recommend that we purchase it for our branches. Please fill out the recommendation form to suggest a purchase of any item. The Library welcomes customer recommendations for books and materials.
